“My wife and I got married at Noisy Acres and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s peaceful, picturesque, and somehow manages to feel both cozy and spacious at the same time. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed, and it provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding and photos.
What really made the experience special, though, was the people. Hilary, Josie, and Ron were all incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and helped make the day completely stress-free for us. Their presence allowed us to relax and just enjoy our wedding day. Everything was organized, seamless, and exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to the entire Noisy Acres team and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue on Vancouver Island.”

To pull from our thank you speech, “Hilary, Ron, Rick and Josie, coming from two people who had no idea where to begin, or what to expect from this wedding planning process, your expertise, guidance decision-making actually made this an enjoyable experience. The property speaks for itself and reflects the effort and care you have shown to create a uniquely special atmosphere.” To say the least Hilary, Ron and Josie took care of us in every way, we never had to worry and our guest are raving about their professionalism and attention to detail. There aren’t enough stars to give! Best bartenders, best hosts, best property, great people 11/10.

“My husband and I had a hard time finding a venue that suited our needs: we needed space for up to 100 people, we wanted it outdoors, and we wanted to be able to host our reception past 10 pm. When we found this venue in Ladysmith, we got all of this and more! Noisy Acres is a family affair – run by Hilary and her husband Ron, and her parents Rick and Josie, this garden acreage offers it all: a beautiful lawn ceremony area with a flowery vine arch, an expansive surrounding forest, water features, a beautiful wooden pavilion for reception dinner, a rustic stone bar and dance floor, as well as a fire pit and couch area for late night relaxation and socializing.
Hilary runs the show as the coordinator and we couldn’t have asked for someone more helpful; She was easy to get a hold of, communicated clearly, and gave great ideas or options that helped me make the decisions I needed to for the big day. When we first met, she made a wonderful comment about how she strives to ensure that everything she had wished she had when she was married happens for every bride that uses her venue, and she completely met that goal. Rick and Ron made phenomenal cocktails and were a great help when inevitable issues cropped up like a broken wooden table number. Josie was my friendly face when I arrived for my ceremony – when I was shaking like a leaf from nerves, she was wonderful in keeping me calm and ensuring my vision for the bridal march was exactly as I dreamed.
This entire family was personable and invested in ensuring our day was joyful. I greatly appreciated that they coordinated the pack up and returning of my rentals, so all we needed to do was bring our car and pack up the next day. I was also grateful that they were very invested in ensuring everyone got home safely – it wasn’t just a fun time, it was a safe time. While a higher price tag than other venues we looked at – the amount of services and help we received, along with the extras, made it more than worth it; I will always recommend this venue to any bride.”

“We had our wedding here in August and it was an incredibly fabulous venue! All of our guests had a wonderful time and they kept talking about how beautiful the venue is, with the gardens, landscaping and great outdoor bar. The two of us can’t praise Ron and Hilary enough for their incredible hospitality making sure our guests were very well taken of. They even went out to get extra supplies when we started to run out. The atmosphere at Noisy Acres is perfect… there are lounge beds to relax, comfy covered seating areas, and a dance floor right by the bar. It makes for a formal yet casual experience that allowed our guests to enjoy the experience and have a lot of fun! We loved it and recommend it to all of our newly engaged friends.”

” We had our wedding here in July and Noisy Acres really made our day incredible. The garden and landscaping was green and growing and absolutely stunning. There is also an amazing outdoor bar area, lots of lounging areas, a dance floor, and grass for activities – it’s so beautiful there that there is no need for any additional decorations! Ron, Hilary, Rick & Josie were outstanding, taking care of everything from parking, bartending, music, and setting up lawn games to cleaning up, and so much more, all while having fun and kind interactions with our guests. They made the planning and the actual event so easy and we feel lucky to have found such a special atmosphere for our wedding day.
